How your Donations Helps
Pancreatic cancer is a very aggressive cancer that affects up to 8,000 people each year. It is often untreatable as it is usually found quite late on. Liver cancer affects up to 18,000 people each year, most commonly spread from bowel cancer. The department of hepatobiliary and pancreatic (HPB) surgery at Leicester General Hospital regularly conducts research into the causes and treatments of these cancers. Research however is very costly and rarely funded by the NHS trust. We therefore need to raise money to ensure the continuation of this vital work.
Please help us to continue our good work, we depend on your support.
