The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust have three main hospitals. The Leicester General Hospital, Leicester Royal Infirmary and the Leicester Glenfield Hospital. THe Leicester HPB department is based at the Leicester Glenfield Hospital. It is about three miles north west of Leicester city centre. The hospital has approximately 415 beds and provides a range of services for patients, including nationally recognised medical care for heart disease, lung cancer, breast care and the Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Unit has recently moved here from the Leicester General Hospital.
